Free lifetime entrance permit for veterans with 50%+ disability or former POWs; other disabled veterans (under 50%) may buy a discounted $28 annual permit.

Who Qualifies
ND-resident veterans with a 50%+ service-connected disability (free) or any disabled veteran (discounted $28 tier); former POWs (free).
Proof / Documentation Needed
Current VA Summary of Benefits Letter; POWs need a DD-214 showing POW status.
What It Covers
Day-use entrance (permit) — must apply in person or by mail due to the documentation check.
