These programs are confirmed against the retailer's own current page — not just repeated from a discount-aggregator list. Terms, caps, and eligibility change often, so each entry links to the source; check it before you shop if the discount matters for your budget.

• Home Depot's frequently-cited $400/year discount cap is repeated across aggregator sites but not confirmed in the retrievable text of Home Depot's own corporate page — confirm the current cap directly before publishing a dollar figure.
• Texas Roadhouse's Veterans Day free meal is real and company-confirmed, but it's a single annual-day promotion (Nov 11) with terms that change yearly, not a standing discount — treated as a seasonal event, not listed here as a standing discount.
• Chili's, Applebee's, IHOP, Denny's, and Golden Corral all run Veterans Day one-day promos, but have no standing everyday corporate-wide discount — where an everyday discount exists it's franchise-owner discretion (varying 10-20% by location), not corporate policy.
• Planet Fitness — corporate confirmed no nationwide military discount; decision is made at the individual franchise level.

• Goodyear — only seasonal Veterans Day/Memorial Day 10% promotions found via press releases, not a standing everyday program.
• Jiffy Lube / Valvoline — discounts exist only at some independently owned franchise locations; no centralized corporate discount confirmed on their own site.
• Progressive — no national military discount; only a Louisiana-specific 25% discount, which is a state-law mandate applied to all insurers, not a Progressive veteran-appreciation program.
